Dr. Salman Iqbal
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Salman Iqbal has over 30 years of experience in engineering, software design, development, and consultancy with proven leadership capability in successful execution of technical, commercial and business strategies. He presently serves as the founder and CEO of Denovonet. Previously, he held the same role at Softech Systems for over 25 years, where he managed multi-million dollar business employing over 200 professionals. Softech provided solutions and services to a diverse clientele across 4 continents in various sectors, including capital and financial markets, telecom, healthcare, IoT, social and digital media. Dr. Iqbal takes pride in his contributions to designing business-oriented, real-time data-centric software solutions for prominent global companies over the past two decades, including Ericsson, Conceptwave, Facelift, Mi-Pay, Etisalat, Saudi Telecom, Hutchison, Databank, and several leading asset management and capital market firms.
Denovonet, his latest undertaking, focuses on data driven projects and solutions that unlocks the transformative power of AI and ML techniques across a range of industries. The company has a team of passionate data scientists and engineers with extensive academic and industrial experience with a proven track record of delivering tangible business value by harnessing the power of data.
Dr. Iqbal has served as a consultant and committee member to many esteemed academic and industrial institutes globally. Electrical Engineer by profession, he completed his PhD studies from University of Sussex, UK. He has several international publications in his area of interest.

With a degree in Computer Engineering from Chicago, IL and 20+ years of technology leadership experience, Imran has a knack for solving complex technical and business challenges. He has helped several prominent American companies over the years in architecting and engineering software systems. They include Siemens, Microsoft, Walgreens, Chick-Fil-A, United Airlines, Commscope, Sysmex and TaylorMade
Imran has been part of the C-suite Leadership yet he has the breadth of technical knowledge that he can personally code and automate the most complex technical solutions using cutting-edge technologies. Imran knows how to put technology to work to create competitive advantage, increase revenue, accomplish mission, and generate value.
There is a proven track record of Imran's ability to grow the business and the technical facets of a company with equal levels of excellence. Imran is passionate about AI, ML, cloud, mobile, computer vision, IoT and voice technology.

Yassir Ahmed
Director of Software Engineering
Yassir has over 20 years of progressive experience in software development, architecture, and infrastructure, demonstrating an outstanding record of delivering high-impact software projects in complex distributed environments. After obtaining his degree in Computer Sciences, Yassir started his career as a Software Development Engineer at EFA Software Services where he worked on the trading and settlement systems. Later, Yassir worked on developing different FinTech solutions including mutual funds creation and settlements at Mackenzie Financial, as well as, capital and risk management software solutions at the Bank of Montreal in Canada.
Yassir moved to the US in 2015 to work for Amazon where he contributed to their supply chain optimization technology and enhanced systems for the management of billions of units of inbound freight globally based on different optimization factors including demand forecasts, existing inventory levels, customer backorders, and deal units to name a few. His most recent experience includes creating iBuyer software for home purchasing and predicting future home prices using different ML models at Redfin.
Yassir is a skilled leader with experience managing organizations of up to 55 engineering professionals, including engineering managers, principal engineers, and technical project managers. He has a deep understanding of legal, compliance, and audit requirements within highly sensitive and confidential customer data environments.
Dr. Nilufer Sari
Lead Data Scientist
Dr Nilufer Sari, an active researcher in urban mobility and geospatial data analysis, has contributed to smart city development through her work with machine learning applications. With published research and numerous citations, Dr Sari focuses on connecting theoretical research with practical, sustainable urban solutions, engaging in global discussions about intelligent urban planning and development.
Nilufer Sari completed her MSc and PhD at SpaceTimeLab - University College London, UK. She worked as a postdoctoral researcher on the SIMETRI (Sustainable Mobility and Equality in mega-ciTy RegIons) project (https://simetri.uk/), which united researchers from China, the UK, and the Netherlands to integrate methods, knowledge, and experience related to spatial data analytics, indicator development, and urban modelling. She has also worked at the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis at UCL, where she collaborated on the RealTrips project, developing an analytical and modelling framework in sustainable transportation for smart cities.

His projects have ranged from web click-stream data to real-time multimedia streams and financial transactional data. Proficient in cross-functional collaboration, Qaisar has contributed to the success of renowned organizations, including GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Expedia, ITV, Dojo, Square-Enix, and Nokia Networks.
Qaisar's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science, providing him with a robust foundation in computer science concepts and exceptional problem-solving skills, enhancing his ability to drive innovation and deliver valuable insights through data engineering for AI.
